It’s no secret that Paris is a magical place. Every single corner of it seems to have it’s own kind of inescapable beauty. The city’s ability to intermingle with the past so effortlessly is something that adds to it’s magic, making it that much easier to photograph. I personally haven’t seen a single picture of Paris that isn’t absolutely stunning! That aside, I have come up with what I believe are five top photo spots to best capture the charm of Paris. Happy traveling!
Place du Trocadero
One of my all time favorite spots in Paris – it just never gets old! We spent a lot of time here because the views of the Eiffel Tower are just incredible from this spot. You will find 2 staircases at this location that are both great spots for photos! There are usually a lot of crowds here, so take advantage of getting here early in the morning for prime picture time!
Along the Seine River
The Seine River runs through the entire city, so there are many places to stop along the way for beautiful pictures. You can stay along the sidewalk, or take the stairs down a level further to walk directly along the river. There are two cobblestone paths on each side, offering beautiful views of the city without the crazy crowds!
Rue de l’Universite
This is one of Paris’ best hidden gems! The street is growing in popularity because of Instagram, but it is a MUST SEE to get some incredible views of the Eiffel Tower!
Up the Eiffel Tower
I’ve never been to the very top of the Eiffel Tower, but the views from the first and second floor are breathtaking! Seeing the city from this point of view was unlike anything I had ever experienced before. We paid for tickets in advance, and even reserved seats at a restaurant on the first floor which also made for some very picturesque moments!
Pont de Bir-Hakeim
You probably recognize this infamous bridge from the movie Inception. It is a really beautiful spot to get unique and romantic photos in the city! It’s also just about half a mile away from the Eiffel Tower, so you can get some pretty stunning views of it from this location too.
All of these locations are in walking distance of each other, making it really easy to explore the city and get incredible pictures at the same time! Let me know which one is YOUR favorite!
